Persistance pays

I once tried an experiment with Paula Mooney as my example for what great reviews should look like and the results on it were wonderful.

Why did I use her as an example? Because she gets a lot of traffic and I want that kind of traffic, who doesn’t?

Persistance is great when it comes to blogging. I laugh when I see a blog that goes cold only after a few months. I have even learned to manage many blogs at a time. Do I like doing it? No, but it’s great money.

When you are talking about doing reviews for companies like sponsored reviews, the more blogs you have, the better. Now, in order to get the best task, you must be….. persistant.

The best way to do this is to keep your blog updated and keep searching for the best ways to get traffic to your site.

I spend one day a week surfing blogs. I do this and leave comments on each one of them that I vist. I leave the comment and it attracts visitors. Well, it does if you leave great comment that is associated with what they are talking about. I also visit the people who leave comments on my blog. I always return the favor.

Another way to be persistant, write great reviews on sites, products, services, or whatever it is that you do. The better the content, the better your blog or blogs will be.

I have to admit, I am the worlds worse about rushing my post or getting free post from sites that offer it to me. I should actually write my own post more often, it keeps my readers interested in me.

You should always give credit where credit is due. If you find an idea and you are not the original person to come up with it, let people know. When I write a post about something that I found to be interesting and it was another bloggers idea, I always give them a little bit of link love. You will be suprised at how many people this attracts.

I try to use a rule of thumb, I try to give link love at least once a week to a dedicated blogger if I find them interesting. The best way to get a top blogger to your site is to love them linky style. I actually thought about writing reviews on sites that I find interesting, I don’t know if anyone would read them, but at least it would be my own bookmarking place with a little bit of info for me to remember why I liked them so much. Kind of like Jay, I thrill about him all the time. I love what he does and I follow his style a lot.

So, what do you do if you need more traffic and want it now? You could always do what one blogger said  Link and they will come.
