Blog Your Way With Sticky Notes

I know that the internet has come up with some really cool things to help bloggers out like the google notebook and other items that you can add to such browsers as Firefox but for me, there is nothing better than using sticky notes. Yes, you heard me correctly, sticky notes.

I am like a massive rat running on a wheel with ideas. I sometimes have so many ideas that I don’t know what to do with them. I started out with a notebook by my side and a pen in lap but then I converted over to a laptop since it was more convenient for me. I then realized that holding a laptop in my lap and trying to write in a notebook wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be.

I ended up with sticky notes or post-it notes, as some may call them. They are convenient for me to use and small enough that I can carry them in my pocket.

I run across some interesting things on the internet and through other blogs. I also run across some things during the day that I can’t wait to blog about. Anytime that I have an idea, I write it down on a sticky note to use later.

If you were to look at my desk, which I use for my freelancing, then you would see a ton of sticky notes all over my wall and on my computer. I also have a recycle bin by my desk so I can throw them in there after I am done.

This gives you an idea of what to do with those light bulbs that go off in your head so you don’t forget them. I use these sticky notes instead of the internet because it actually saves me from clicking more links and it is right in front of me at all times. (I wonder if there is a sticky note on the internet that would allow you to have it sent to you every five minutes so I wouldn’t forget?)

So, the next time that you have a bright idea and can’t wait to share it with the world, make sure that you add a note about it.
