When I started writing for the internet, we didn’t have all these cool tools to work with. It was hard to save a word document as a JPEG. I searched and searched for ways to do it and found nothing. Well, today it is easy to save a word document as a JPEG because we have tools such as the snippet tool.
Opening the Word Document that you want to save as a JPEG
Open the word document and zoom out until you can see everything that you are wanting to save as JPEG. For this to work, you need to see the entire content.
Finding the Snippet Tool
Scroll to the corner right side of your screen. Take your mouse and place it on the search icon and click it. In the search box, enter snippet. This will bring your snippet up. Right click the snippet tool and click on the icon that says “pin to start screen”, this will place it at the bottom of your home screen and make it easier to use.
Save a word document as a JPEG on Windows 8.1
Now that you have the snippet tool at the bottom of your home screen and the word document you want to use showing, you can left click the snippet tool and it will pull it up on the screen. It will give you different options. The option that I use is “new”, free form snip (this lets you clip part of the content but not all), and I use a red pen to draw a box around everything I want to save as a JPEG. Once you circle everything or box it in using the pen, it will as you how you want to save it.
